Special Education Teacher – Multiple Openings
Location: Phoenix, AZ
School District: Peoria Unified School District
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: May 21, 2027
Schedule: Full-Time
We are partnering with Peoria Unified School District in Phoenix, AZ, to hire qualified Special Education Teachers for multiple openings across elementary and middle school settings.
Available Opportunities
Resource – Middle School
Resource setting supporting middle school students
Provide specialized instruction and academic support
Collaborate with general education and special education staff
Self-Contained – K–2
Self-contained classroom serving students in kindergarten through 2nd grade
One available classroom has approximately 6 students
Another K–2 classroom has approximately 8 students
Resource – Elementary
Resource setting serving students in 3rd–4th grade
Approximately 20 students
Resource – K–3
Resource setting serving students in kindergarten through 3rd grade
Approximately 8 students
Qualifications
Appropriate Special Education teaching certification/licensure required
Experience working in resource and/or self-contained settings preferred
Experience supporting students with diverse learning needs
Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills
Ability to start ASAP
