Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support students in a Behavior & Emotional classroom at an elementary school in Colorado Springs, CO.

• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: End of the 2026 2027 school year
• Schedule: 37.5 hours per week
• Caseload: To be determined
• License Required: Valid Colorado Special Education teaching license/credential

• Provide specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning and behavioral needs.
• Develop and implement individualized instruction and educational strategies.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and school leadership.
• Monitor student progress and maintain appropriate documentation.
• Support a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Implement behavior support strategies as appropriate.

• Valid Colorado Special Education teaching license/credential .
• Experience working with students with behavioral and emotional needs preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.
• Commitment to supporting student academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development.
